'Finding your place of peace'
The Positive Self Psychotherapy practice offers individual counselling sessions, in person and online, as well as walk and talk sessions.
When life presents us with challenges or difficulties we can sometimes find ourselves experiencing feelings of anger, guilt, hopelessness and fear. This can lead us to issues with our self-esteem and confidence and impact upon our relationships.
As an experienced trauma therapist, I am offering a safe and supportive space to children and young people who may be facing some of life's complex moments and finding them a challenge.
Working with children from age 6 to 11 Years and young people from age 11 to 18 Years, with the right support may assist them to develop a better understanding of their feelings, leading them to feel less overwhelmed by life's complexities. Developing coping strategies to manage more complex challenges while developing a positive mindset.
Following a free telephone call, I will offer a 90 minute Initial Consultation and should you, the client, decide that I may be the right person for you to communicate with, we will then discuss whether short term, focus-based Psychotherapy (8 to 12 sessions) or longer term Psychotherapy (open-ended) would be best for you.
The duration of therapy that I offer will vary according to your need and what develops from the Initial Consultation.
